Hello, and welcome to my little corner of the world. A quick link to my personal resume can be found here.

I graduated in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Communication Design from Ramapo College of New Jersey. I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a 3.8 GPA, and a member of the Lambda Pi Eta Honor Society. An honor society for communication majors across the country.

My education provided me with exposure to many aspects of graphic design and gave me the skills to expand my toolkit whenever needed to cover the necessary skills I needed for my future pursuits. Since I had exposure to so many paths as well, I have a deep desire to have a very broad range of skills to fall back on. I believe that having that skillset and the ability to continue to grow it would also prove to allow me to have a different approach to design problems and consider multiple ways to solve any challenges I can encounter.

As for my professional life thus far. It has been less than traditional. While in college, I interned with my college’s publications department. Post graduation, I had worked for a mortgage broker handling social media for real estate agents. From there I went on to work with a financial services firm as a media coordinator for several years. Here is where the bulk of my skillset developed and grew. Unfortunately lay offs after the pandemic meant I had to leave that position and unfortunately was not able to immediately pivot to a new design position. From there I took on freelance work, started my own small retail business, and began working at a family entertainment business. Here, though not my main responsibility, I still get to work on design projects and manage other forms of marketing with a team.

Though many hobbies aren’t the most relevant to things like experience or skillsets, they are still interesting to share. I like to think they help get a better idea of what a person is like outside of their profession. Personally for me, all my hobbies lean towards the creative. They shape the way I think, process, and approach all other facets of my life and work.
